Many of us are looking for ways to help with this turbulent and exciting time in history, as the energy flow accelerates.
It is said that if Kundalini Yoga crosses your path you must have done a deed of great merit in order to receive such a reward. Congratulations!
Kundalini Yoga has been practiced for over three thousand years and was used by ancient Sikh warriors to create strength and stamina. Similar exercises have been found in the esoteric teachings of Egyptians, Tibetans, Chinese and was thought to have magical powers.
Once a guarded secret, Kundalini Yoga was brought to the states by Yogi Bhajan. Known as the yoga of awareness, it helps us to radiate more love and peace, while focusing on what we came here to do.
One of the present day Kundalini masters Ravi Singh says in regards to some of these exercises *"the impossible becomes possible".*
Here are the main aspects that make it so effective.
Each kundalini exercise has Divine intelligence as it stimulates circulation and cleans the glands in the body. Stimulation of the Pineal
gland (our awakening center) included. Many of the arm movements in kundalini clear the magnetic field around the body while certain exercises balance the hemispheres of the brain. Exercises are combined with powerful breathing techniques to enhance each movements effectiveness.
If all that is not enough, powerful Mantras are added to bring in sound healing therapy.
For those who connect with this ancient life changing process, it offers a tremendous balance to our emotional state as the exercises heal the nervous system.
For beginners this is much more than the body is used to and should be integrated slowly. Less is more with Kundalini. We should also give our body adequate breaks allowing ourselves time to assimilate all the new energetic and physical changes taking place.
Try this one-minute exercise in the video for 21 days in a row, sitting or standing. Dedicate this daily practice to something you would like more of in your life. (Disclaimer, check with your doctor before starting any exercise program).
