So, you’re interested, or perhaps even fascinated, by the supernatural. Now days, who isn’t with so much of it in main stream media? The supernatural, which I use as a general term, has been an interest and fascination for centuries. The topic can be traced back to early human history.

As a professional Medium, I have sat with clients who have come to me for various reasons. I have found that because of mainstream media, more and more people seek me out. There are those who so desperately want closure or comfort and there are those who have skepticism and doubt in their heart. The topic and fascination knows no boundaries. With that being said I want to share and offer a few tips or better yet do’s and don’ts when sitting with a Medium.

The Difference Between A Psychic And A Medium

First of all, let me explain in simple terms the difference between a Psychic and a Medium. I will then get into the dos and don’ts. A Psychic first of all is not a Medium, period! A Psychic works on a much lower level than a Medium. A Psychic tunes into your energy field, senses or picks up on you, your life etc…

A Medium, on the other hand, works on a much higher level and connects with those in spirit so, as said, two totally different types of work.

All Mediums are Psychic but not all Psychics are Mediums; please be aware of this. Honest Mediums are not fortune tellers nor are honest Psychics; beware if you have someone tell you differently. Most Mediums work on a Spiritual level.

Well known psychic medium, John Holland, has often said, “We are all spiritual beings living a human experience”. I couldn’t agree more. There is nothing dark, evil, or scary in the work I do. I do not bring religion into my work, although some Mediums do, nor do I bring anything dark into my work. I feel my gift was given to me to help no matter what that maybe, nothing more nothing less.

The Do’s And Don’ts When Sitting With A Psychic Medium

Now, let’s get into the dos and don’ts when seeking the help from a professional Medium.

Number one: I have found that if you have any skepticism or doubt in your heart it is a waste of time for both you and the Medium.

Number two: Come to your appointment with honesty; don’t play games with the Medium again, a waste of time for both you and the Medium.

Number three: Don’t test the Medium, a good one will know within minutes.

Number four: If the Medium you are working with is okay with it communicate with them during your session, in other words answer the Medium honestly with a simple yes or no.

Number five: Prior to your appointment day let those in spirit with whom you want to hear from know you are visiting a Medium – this can be done through mind talk, meditation or simply saying it out loud – whatever you are comfortable with.

Number six: Most professional Mediums have “earned their wings” sort of speak – there are without a doubt some really good ones out there however, Mediums are still human so if you really want to hear from Grandma Mary then tell the Medium, “hey I would really like to here from my Grandma Mary”. Speaking for myself, I only need to hear a first name and nothing else. Again, be honest and remember professional Mediums do not need to “fish” for information from you.

Number seven: Know when the session has ended in other words, Mediums do their work on a much higher level then we typically walk around from day to day. When the Medium has “come back down” the session is over.

Number eight: Before your appointment make sure you have found the type of person you are in search of meaning, if you’re looking for a fortune teller, palm reader, tarot card reader odds are pretty good a Medium is not what you want. Remember, Mediums connect with those in Spirit.

The general term “supernatural” travels down many, many avenues. It has been played out in all shapes, sizes and faucets. The more you educate yourself on these many avenues the better off your experience will be.

Again, professional Mediums are not dark, evil or scary and there are some really good Mediums out there. Do your homework, follow my dos and don’ts and your experience may be just what you hoped for.
