Illusions And Truth

by Dennis Klinger,
Contributing Writer,In5D.com

The inquisitive mind is always seeking answers.  We associate this with seeking the truth.  We see truth seeking as being synonymous with seeking the comfort of knowing more about our world.  We think the truth will set us free, but freedom can be had long before truth, and indeed, is a prerequisite for allowing you to see the truth.  We think that knowing the truth will elevate what we are and create the harmony some are always reaching for. But harmony can be found in the most basic understanding of truth, which we already possess.

We would benefit to know that freedom is not attained through a verification or truth process.  Freedom is something that is needed in order to find the truth. The only way to find the truth is to let go of the chains that bind your thinking process.  Everything we know to be true, and use as the base to which we build understanding, is actually the prison controlling our thoughts, while at the same time providing an illusion of understanding. True freedom is the breaking of these chains that have bound us since the time we could comprehend language.

The science of our time is certainly awe inspiring. What we as a whole have accomplished by means of technology has been elevated beyond the actual understanding of nearly every individual. But one should not confuse technical advancements with understanding of the universe.

The information we gather with new instruments and express with complex mathematics is still subject to interpretation as the prime component to understanding what we see. Even though it is possible to create this vision of synergy between modern technology and awareness of what this Universe is, you can be sure there are no two fields more independent of each other. Since the average person cannot wholly understand the mechanisms and mathematics for determining modern theories, it would appear we have no grounds to suggest these modern theories are nonsense. But looks can be deceiving.

Most everything we know about the universe beyond our solar system simply comes from measuring light (waves) from the stars and galaxies.  But there is a component to this that should be strongly considered, even though we hardly (if ever) hear about. We should be reminded it is theoretically impossible for us to verify the speed of light beyond our solar system.

I would urge you to consider the implications of this for a moment.  We know the speed of light by measuring how fast the light travels from our sun to our planets. And since we have actually sent objects outside of our atmosphere and into the solar system, we can verify a vacuum filling our solar system and thus can accept this speed attributed to light.

The problem is; we admit that we do not know what the space medium is outside of our solar system. The only thing we do know is that it is not like what is in our solar system because if it were, then the gravity constant and equations would begin to break down.  The only way the gravity theory works is if we admit there is a medium unlike the vacuum of our solar system filling the space between stars and causing the appearance of motion inside our galaxy.

If the medium outside of our solar system is unknown; then how can we predict the speed of light going through it?  We cannot predict the speed of light through this medium. Moreover, we cannot predict anything about the waves of light we receive from outside our solar system or any other wave for that matter.  We cannot have it both ways.  Either we do not understand gravity, or we do not understand light.  We cannot conceivably in any way, shape, or form, claim to understand both.  This deduction can be made by simply processing what we know in its most basic form.

It is my contention that we understand neither light nor gravity. What’s more, I have yet to discover the importance of the speed of light in understanding the model of our universe.  I have yet to see the speed of light as anything but a floating carcass in the punch bowl.  The understanding of our existence and the nature of our universe will not come by assigning this depth and distance to the galaxy and universe based on light traveling from our sun to planets inside the vacuum of our solar system. This is what I would call the slight-of-hand controlling what we see. When you control what people are looking at, you can control what they see.

The mystery of our universe cannot be answered entirely through measurements of our physical world.  We cannot measure our way to understanding the universe no more than we can measure the reason we are the first species (on this planet) to ostensibly try.   Life is a riddle, not an equation.  When you solve a riddle, it’s because you were able to get away from the perceived question being asked and see the clues hidden by the question.

Allow me to share a short story to illustrate the cause and result of directed science.

There was once a man who owned a shipping company and made a lot of money from trade in the New World.  One day, he shows up at the newly formed science department at the local University with a bucket of water.

He sets the bucket down and speaks to the administrator in a very candid way.  Sir, he said, I have made generous contributions to this University and would like now to see some fruit and benefit.  The administrator submits and promptly responds with total compliance.  The shipping company owner demanded to know everything about the water that was in the bucket.  The administrator assured the man that the University would exceed his expectations and provide him with more information than he could possible use.

After three months, the company owner felt enough time had gone by to audit the process and get the information accrued to this point.  While conducting this audit he found himself in a room with the top minds of the university and they had laid out a very detailed explanation of the bucket of water given to them months ago.

To begin explaining what was in the bucket, they start with all that had collected at the bottom of the bucket including sand and pieces of shell, fish and debris.  After a long detailed explanation of that, they began to illustrate what they had found in the water with their microscopes and tell the story of the world beyond the sight of human eyes.

Just then, the shipping company owner interrupted the scientist and reminded him that this was ocean water he had brought to him and not his drinking water. He then asked what good all of this knowledge was to him, because he had no intention of drinking the water but navigating his ships through it.   You see, it was the mystery of the ocean which caused his losses and gains due to storms and generous wind. He went on to explain the reason he had brought the bucket of water was to understand more about the ocean and the effect it was having on his ships.

It is impossible to find answers to questions you do not know exist until you free your mind from the prison of what you think is real.  Just as ocean water is contained by a storm, so too is the physical world contained by the metaphysical.  We cannot learn about our containment by examining our physical world.  We must imagine what our containment should be from deduction of the clues we see, but do not suspect contain answers.
