Much love for your kind donation,

The New Moon becomes exact on Sunday, February 23 at 10:31 AM New York time (15:31 GMT).

We have entered the domain of watery, mutable Pisces, as the sun moved into this sign on February 18, signaling the beginning of the end to winter in the Northern Hemisphere. For those of you who have a lot of Pisces in your chart, you will likely be feeling ‘right at home’ over the next 28 days. For others, it can either be a magical or a very confusing time (or both!) But after reading the rest of the article you’ll be armed with all the tools you need to ride the wave of Pisces Season with ease.

So many Lightworkers are having all sorts of emotions come up around this time. Sometimes you can clearly attribute the emotions to something that is going on in your life—like relationship troubles—but oftentimes the emotions seem to come out of nowhere or seem way too potent for the trigger.

The truth is that we all have a reservoir of unprocessed emotions within. These emotions are the leftover residue of traumas experienced earlier in life, as well as past-life traumas and, yes, even our parents’ and ancestors’ traumas!

These stuck emotions can remain buried for years, decades, or even lifetimes—that is, until something like a healing session or a massive influx of gamma rays from the Sun—as is happening now with the continuing strong flow of Ascension energies–shakes you up energetically and the emotions start flowing through.

This type of thing is likely to continue through the rest of February month of March. The most supportive and nurturing thing that you can do for yourself is to really honor all of the emotions that come through you, and to let go of the illusion that you should be feeling good all the time.

Being in 5D doesn’t mean feeling good all the time, and not feeling good all the time doesn’t mean that you’re not living in 5D. This is a journey from 3D to 5D and it is totally normal to oscillate between periods of bliss and depression and everything in between.

There will be periods of time on the Ascension path when the path levels out for awhile and you feel like you are cruising. There will also be periods of time during your Ascension journey when you feel confused, lost, and like you’re just hanging on for dear life. Neither means your succeeding or failing. You’re just surfing the waves of this Ascension path that has already been laid out for you.

So during the next 28 days, work on really honoring whatever you’re feeling. Pisces is the sign of duality, and the shadow side of Pisces is judgment. When you consciously work on letting go of judgment of your journey—including how you compare or line up with others who are on a similar path—you are transcending this Piscean duality and elevating more into the Unity Consciousness of the Aquarian Age.

Judgment of anything tends to hold it in place. Although this can sometimes seem like a cruel twist, it most certainly has a positive intention. This Law of the Universe gives you continued opportunities to see what that judgment is pointing to within – aka which types of outdated or misaligned beliefs are you still carrying?

Some great questions to ask yourself during this Pisces New Moon are these:

  • What am I still holding against myself?
  • What am I still holding against the world?
  • What have I not yet been willing to forgive myself for?
  • What have I not yet been willing to forgive others for?
  • What in the outside world causes me to feel revulsion?
  • If I was really honest, what might I be dishonoring or pushing away on the inside that is somehow relevant to those things I see in the world that disgust me?
  • Can I bring just a little bit more acceptance to those things about myself that I have not been able to come to peace with?
  • Can I bring just a little bit more acceptance to those things about myself that others might think are weird or even taboo?

Just having the courage to ask these questions of yourself can be very healing, as awareness is always the first step to healing anything. The next step, then, is to make a commitment to shift that something within. To shift it, you need to set the intention to do so: that in itself is a powerful act. But then, the more important part is following through. You will literally have to become a different person to let go of a pattern that’s been with you for awhile. It can feel as if you are faking at first. But with practice, you really can let go of self-judgments, grievances, and regret—permanently.

As a mutable water sign, one of the lessons that Pisces teaches us is how to shift, change, and grow gracefully. Pisces has no problem being totally different from one moment to the next, just as water has no qualms when gravity funnels it from a wide, flowing river into a violent waterfall.

One of the few guarantees in life is that things will never be the same. Have you ever tried to recreate the magic of a past relationship or a fun time with a friend only to find that it’s never the same the second time around? It certainly doesn’t mean it isn’t fun or valuable the second time around, but we can never really truly live the same moment twice.

Be really honest with yourself right now and ask yourself whether there is something from the past—an ex-lover, an ex-friend, a place you lived, a job you worked, or a life experience you had—that you frequently long to get back to. If something like that does come to mind, then ask yourself this question: What am I truly missing about that person, place, or thing?

For example, oftentimes when we are mentally pining over an ex-lover, we are actually missing the feeling of being held or appreciated. If we are missing a certain time in our life—like high school or college for example—we may be missing feeling spontaneous, careless, and willing to take risks. The truth is that we aren’t actually missing the person, job, or life experience itself. What we are missing is the feelings that those things evoked. We will never be able to replicate the specific relationships or life experiences that we think we are missing but we absolutely can replicate the feelings.

Once you have identified the feelings you are actually missing, then ask yourself how you can bring more of those feelings into your life now in small doses. For example, it may not be practical, prudent, or even desirable to replicate some of the tomfoolery of your teenage years, but how could you bring fun and spontaneity into your life now in small doses? Do you need to give yourself some ‘me-time’ off of work and other family responsibilities to have some fun with a friend? Do you need to meditate less and listen to some music you enjoy or watch a funny TV show? Would your Inner Child appreciate it if you planned a trip to a place you’ve always wanted to go and you left some unscheduled days where you can be spontaneous?

When you become aware of the reality that you aren’t actually missing people or experiences, but you are missing feelings, you can then put yourself in the driver’s seat and give yourself exactly what you’ve been missing.

What you thought you were missing also points to those parts of you that may remain unhealed. For example, when pining over a lost lover, as I said we are actually missing feeling held, appreciated and loved. Without that ex-lover, we may have difficulty feeling appreciated, loved and valuable, and we may not ever get held and caressed. So what this actually points to on a deeper level is that one or both of our parents probably didn’t do such a great job holding us and/or making us feel appreciated, loved and valuable. A realization like this could show you exactly what you still need to work on with a therapist, life coach or healer like myself (or to work on on your own if you feel like you can handle it). If you want to attract the next person into your life who will make you feel appreciated, loved and valuable, and who will hold and caress you, the best thing you can do is to cultivate such a deep sense of self-love and self-appreciation that you no longer feel like you need someone to show that to you or to hold you. When the subtle (or not-so-subtle) air of desperation is gone, you’re going to attract someone who is just as healed within and who will be able to enhance your life and your self-love rather than being the only source of it.

When you start to truly heal the wounds of the past, you will begin to recognize that you actually feel like a totally new person. In a very real sense, this is a true phenomenon. Your cells are constantly replacing themselves. Your energy field is likewise constantly evolving. The one consistent thread, though, is your consciousness. There’s always a you that is the operator of the vehicle. That you doesn’t even die when your physical body does. You are always conscious. Even when you sleep, you are still you, just operating in a different dimension.

If you earnestly want to make big strides forward in your life, then you—the operator of the vehicle—must allow yourself to become truly different! The mind is so powerful that simply by deciding you will allow yourself to be different, you will find your evolution speeding up, and you might actually find your life circumstances shifting quickly as well. It’s as if you are driving a beat-up Ford Focus, and simply by deciding on a deep level you will allow yourself to become different, your Ford Focus turns into a brand new Ferrari.

One of the difficulties of allowing yourself to be different is the trap of worrying what other people will think. For someone whose self-image when they were young was very much based on what other people around them (like other schoolchildren) thought of them, this can be an especially difficult thing to overcome.

I have experienced such a profound evolution over the past few years that I am barely recognizable when compared to who I was just five years ago. I have found that the majority of people in my life have, surprisingly, been willing to see me as a different person than before—but not all of them. The people who weren’t willing to see me evolve have naturally fallen out of my life.

The truth is that your Ascension is going to pull you along no matter what. You have the power to either go with the flow and evolve consciously, or to go kicking and screaming as the Universe forces you to become the person you are meant to become. If you choose the former, you may be able to evolve more quickly and to create the life you dream of in significantly less time than if you choose the latter.

When we are in Pisces season our intuitive and psychic faculties are likely to be heightened. We really have a terrific opportunity to connect with our Higher Self, Spirit Guides and loved ones who have passed over. The energetic climate is ripe for us to receive guidance regarding our journey ahead.

So be on the lookout for signs and keep your ears open during this time. Schedule some meditation time for yourself and intend to connect with your Higher Self and Guides and receive guidance. It would also be a great time to do some intuitive writing. Here is a terrific exercise that I learned from one of Matt Kahn’s group calls: write a letter to your angels, asking them all the questions you have about your life, then write the answers as if your angels were writing through you. You’d be surprised at the clarity you’ll get from doing this exercise.

The next month would also be a great time to visit a trusted psychic for a reading. As hard as we dig for answers, it is generally always a lot easier to read for someone else than to read for oneself. This is because when you are reading for someone else, you aren’t attached to any outcomes or emotions. You’re not in their journey. However, as much as psychic readings can be incredibly helpful along your path, getting too many readings, especially from different readers, can be detrimental. When you’re in a confusing period in your life, your desperation for answers can oddly enough draw you to psychics who aren’t very good or whose channels aren’t very clear that day. You might leave the reading feeling more confused, only to visit another psychic who tells you something totally different.

I know this from experience (haha). When I was at my most confused, I pretty much got nothing helpful from psychics, and was actually led astray by several. Later, when my life smoothed out a bit, I recognized that the reason I went through this was that my Soul was asking me to learn discernment, to learn to trust my own intuition, and also to surrender to the reality that I didn’t actually need to know all the steps ahead of me in order to make a move.

I am so grateful that I was taught all three of these lessons pretty profoundly in a short period of time. Now, I consider myself an expert on intuition and discernment. My psychic readings for others are extremely accurate most of the time and my personal intuition about my own life is also pretty accurate (though as I said, it’s always easier to read for others). Most importantly, though, I have given up the incessant desire of the ego to know exactly every step that’s ahead. I have become much more comfortable with the concept of Free Will and that in fact the future is not set in stone. Trial and error is OK, it’s a natural part of being human!

This is where the Capricorn aspect of this New Moon chart comes in. With Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, all of this very grounded energy is serving as a balance for the Piscean energies. This chart is a really good representation of the yin and the yang. Anything that you do over the next few weeks with the intention of bringing more balance to your life will serve you very well.

The two fish of the Pisces sign can also be seen as representing the yin and yang or the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine within. Over the next 28 days, we will likely be asked to renegotiate this relationship within each of us.

Nearly all of us carry some sort of inner imbalance in regards to this relationship. Perhaps the most efficient way in which the Universe assists us in renegotiating this balance is through romantic relationships. The Universe will show you where and how you are dishonoring parts of yourself quite clearly during and after any intimate relationship.

Are you still finding yourself stuck in shadow feminine themes like sacrificing the self to please another; or feeling obligated, bound, or indecisive? Are you still finding yourself marred in shadow masculine traits like overaggressiveness, jealousy, or power struggles?

The journey to a healthy balance between the masculine and feminine within takes many lifetimes to consummate. In that time, you have surely played every side of both the shadow and Divine sides of the masculine and feminine energies. The Soul always desires to experience all sides of things. You may have even experienced many sides of this play in this current lifetime.

Ultimately, regardless of our sex or gender, we want to become equally advancing as we are receptive; logical as we are intuitive; and structured as we are spontaneous. As we harmonize the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine within, we become vibrationally ready to meeting our Twin Flame. As I have been saying, many Twin Flame couples shall be coming together in 2020. It is a big part of the energetic template for this year.

If you are awaiting the Divinely Orchestrated reunion with your Twin Flame, as I am, the absolute best thing you can do is to work on becoming the absolute best version of yourself. What type of life would you want to be able to proudly tell your Twin about when you do finally meet him or her? Start creating that life, now! If that isn’t some major motivation to kick you in the butt a little bit and get you going, I don’t know what is.

We are also finding ourselves in the first Mercury Retrograde of the 2020s! The Mercury Station occurred on February 17 and since then the planet of communication has been traveling retrograde, which means it appears to be traveling backward in the sky.

Mercury Retrograde gets a lot of negative media coverage. The tabloids like to bill it as a time when you have to walk carefully, lest you risk an air conditioner randomly falling on your head as you walk down the sidewalk. The truth is, Mercury Retrograde isn’t bad at all. It’s actually a tremendous opportunity for learning and growth.

Any time a planet is retrograde, it means we are given the opportunity to renegotiate the theme that the planet represents, especially as it relates to the connection between our inner world and the world at large. The focus on this Mercury Retrograde in Pisces is bringing a balance to how you communicate with others. The key words here are mutual understanding.

Miscommunications between people happen when one or both people involved in the communication aren’t really listening to the other. If you’ve ever watched or listened to a really good interviewer (for example on a podcast or TV show), you will see that the interviewer will be very present with the guest. His or her follow-up questions will be tailored to what the guest is revealing and not necessarily what the interviewer already had in mind.

On the flip side, if you’ve ever watched an amateur or inexperienced interviewer, they might ask irrelevant questions or even questions that the guest already answered because they’re not actually listening to what the other person is saying and they’re just plowing through with their premeditated questions.

As a life coach, one of the first things you learn is the cruciality of listening to the client. It is the basis of the entire art of coaching. Becoming a better listener inevitably helps you to become a much better speaker, because you learn to be more potent and effective with your words when you do speak.

This Mercury Retrograde in Pisces is offering us the opportunity to refine our communication with others and to endeavor to reach mutual understandings with others. It doesn’t mean we will always agree with the other person, and it doesn’t mean we need to let our boundaries down. But regardless of whether we agree or not, we can make a better effort to hear what others are saying.

Let me ask you this question—how does it feel to be heard by others? So many Lightworkers have throat chakra deficiencies because their parents didn’t let them speak up or out, or didn’t let them do the types of activities they wanted to do. For those of you who were raised like that, you’ve likely had trouble expressing your needs and desires in relationships and at work. For you, this Mercury Retrograde season is a great time to make sure you are speaking your truths with others.

When we can balance that inner need to be heard, which is inherent in every human being, with a genuine effort to allow others to be heard by listening to them better, we can achieve the harmony that Mercury Retrograde in Pisces is challenging us to achieve.

Arguments and disagreements may naturally come up during Mercury Retrograde. It’s nothing to fear, rather it’s a perfect opportunity to practice exactly what I am teaching here! You see, the Universe never gives us situations in order to just annoy or inconvenience us—there’s always a lesson that we are being challenged to work on.

Be extra clear in both your spoken and written communications during Mercury Retrograde. Also, it’s best to heed the general Mercury Retrograde advice and avoid signing any big business contracts if possible, and try to avoid purchasing big-ticket items like a car. (Personal anecdote: I own a car that was purchased during Mercury Retrograde and it has certainly come with some unexpected opportunities to open my wallet for repairs).

Also, leave early for appointments and expect plane and train delays. Backup your files, too.
