Intro To Meditation - The Easiest Way To Clear Your Mind!

Meditation can be as simple as ‘winding down’ and turning off your brain.

It’s hard to clear your mind when your environment is cluttered and noisy, so start with a quiet area to relax in. You can be in whatever position you feel most comfortable in, whether it’s sitting, lying down, or even walking.

The point of meditation is to let your brain become unfocused and open to the signals of the universe – to look inwards and allow peace and happiness to take up the chaotic space of your mind.

It is important to remember to protect yourself before you enter the state of meditation.

I like to ask my spirit guides, guardian angels, and the universe itself to watch over me and protect me. I thank them, and then envision a white light surrounding my whole body and extend it as far as I can – my room, my house, my neighborhood, and so on. You are now ready to meditate!

At first, it may seem impossible to really clear your mind. It can be hard to get that catchy song out of your head or stop thinking about the errands you need to run.

A useful trick my friend taught me is to place two objects about two feet apart of each other in front of you in a quiet space.

Try to look at both objects at once without looking directly at either. Concentrate on seeing both of them at the same time.

Voila! Your mind can be cleared! If that doesn’t work for you, try to have a mantra you can repeat until you become relaxed.

Afterwards, I like to thank the universe, my guides, and my guardians for the experience and protection.

You may find different techniques that make it easier for you to meditate, don’t be afraid to experiment!
