A 7th Coronal Mass Ejection is on its way with G5 Storm!
We recently found out that a 7th coronal mass ejection (CME) is heading toward Earth. Additionally, the space weather conditions have been raised to the highest level on the NOAA Scales chart, G5, which hasn’t been seen since October of 2003.
Expected arrivals and dates of CMEs
According to the Space Weather Prediction Center, similar conditions and alerts should occur right through the weekend.
Current Global Consciousness Dot Reading
The Global Consciousness Project collects random numbers from around the world. These numbers are available on the GCP website. This website downloads those numbers once a minute and performs sophisticated analysis on these random numbers to see how coherent they are. That is, we compute how random the random numbers coming from the eggs really are. The theory is that the Global Consciousness of all Beings of the Planet affect these random numbers… Maybe they aren’t quite as random as we thought.
The probability time window is one and two hours; with the display showing the more coherent of the two. For more information on the algorithm you can read about it on the GCP Basic Science page
On yesterday’s live video, we saw the GCP dot quickly escalate from yellow to orange to red within literal minutes of each other.
Additionally, the GCP dot went to pink on three different occasions yesterday, which is a color I have never seen on the GCP page.

What is the difference between a coronal mass ejection and a solar flare?
Solar flares and coronal mass ejections (CMEs) are both solar phenomena, but they involve different processes and have distinct effects:
- Solar Flare:
- A solar flare is a sudden and intense release of energy on the Sun’s surface.
- It occurs when magnetic energy that has built up in the solar atmosphere is suddenly released.
- Solar flares emit radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum, from radio waves to X-rays and gamma rays.
- They are often associated with sunspots, which are regions of intense magnetic activity on the Sun.
- Solar flares can cause disruptions in radio communications and satellite operations, and they can also produce colorful auroras when they interact with the Earth’s magnetic field.
- Coronal Mass Ejection (CME):
- A coronal mass ejection is a massive expulsion of plasma and magnetic field from the Sun’s corona into space.
- Unlike solar flares, CMEs involve the ejection of material from the Sun’s outer atmosphere, rather than just a release of energy.
- CMEs can occur independently or in association with solar flares, but they are not always directly correlated.
- When a CME impacts the Earth, it can cause geomagnetic storms, which can disrupt power grids, satellite communications, and navigation systems.
- CMEs are also responsible for producing the most dramatic auroras when the charged particles they eject interact with the Earth’s magnetic field.
Stock up on simple supplies
The probability of us losing power or the grid going down for an extended period of time is relatively low, but I would recommend stocking up on some basic supplies in case of a temporary power outage. Items you might want to consider include water, dry non-refrigerated food, pet food, candles, battery operated fans, propane, etc… You may also want to freeze as much water as possible to keep your perishable items in your refrigerator from spoiling in the event of a power outage.
