As a reminder, a SuperMoon occurs when the moon is physically closer to the Earth than usual, thus amplifying its effects.

When the ScorpioMoon rolls around, it holds a special place in my Heart. As someone with a Scorpio sun and a predominantly Scorpio chart, it is by far my favorite sign. I love the depth, the passion, and the life-or-death feeling of intensity that Scorpio represents.

As the most deeply emotional of all the Zodiac signs, Scorpio invites us to really honor the depth of all our emotions–especially the uncomfortable ones, like rage, fear, and grief. It asks for us to acknowledge the presence of shame and guilt within. It encourages us to honor the depth of the ‘man’ part of the HU-man—as in the physical, emotional, dense self.

We have the feeling during this Full Supermoon that there’s something deeper that hasn’t yet been explored– like there’s a totally new level of rawness beneath the skin that has yet to come up.

Scorpio is the sign of death and rebirth, and transformation. The season of winter is a good representation of Scorpio, as everything in nature must go through the cycle of death in order to be reborn in the springtime. In our own lives, we must constantly allow the old to die in order to make room for the new to be born. And this is what this Scorpio Supermoon is all about.

The depth and intensity of the Scorpio energy scares many away, because it can be uncomfortable. However, for those brave enough to explore the depths of one’s own consciousness and emotional body, the reward is karmic transmutation, which is one of the very reasons you came to this planet and one of the most important facets of the Ascension journey.

Pluto—the ruler of Scorpio—plays a very important role in this Full Supermoon chart, as it stations in Capricorn on the day of the Full Supermoon (getting ready to go on a five-month Retrograde journey). During the Pluto Station, Pluto becomes exalted, adding further energy to the Scorpio nature of this chart.

In astrology, Pluto represents death/rebirth, power, the taboo, fear, and the subconscious—everything that Scorpio oversees.

The Pluto Station in Capricorn asks us to become aware of the role that power plays in our lives. Do you try to control life too much, out of fear of losing control or fear of the unknown? Do you try to control others in order to feel safe? Do you feel controlled or powerless under the influence of specific characters in your life?

The overall theme of this Supermoon is on letting go. You must let old ideas, concepts, and stuck energy go. If a relationship needs to end, let it end. If a job or career needs to go, let it go. If you need to discard old belief patterns that no longer serve you, then walk away from your past self and create a brand new self.

Stare at the Full Supermoon and ask her what she wants you to let go of. Ask her to take from you whatever is no longer needed; to remove the burden of any baggage that has become too heavy to shoulder any longer.

What needs to be transformed and transmuted? What icky energy is still there within your energy field? What do you need to do to shed this energy?

Sometimes, we believe that we can’t let go of something from the past until we fully understand it. This isn’t actually true. Something doesn’t have to be fully understood before you can let it go. Remember that every event, experience, or relationship—no matter which emotions it produces in your body or what effect it has on your physical reality—has a positive intention from the perspective of the life plan that is created by your soul.

Eventually, enough time will pass and you will be able to interpret the role that the event, experience or relationship had in your life plan by seeing what came next. What experiences did you end up having as a result of that event, experience or relationship that you wouldn’t have otherwise? Who did you end up meeting that you wouldn’t have otherwise? What wisdom did you learn that you were then able to implement into your future choices, to build your emotional and spiritual maturity, and to model or teach to others?

Any tendencies toward escapism or addictions will likely build up a pressure so great inside you that you will find yourself feeling really dense, moody, or overreactive around this Full Supermoon . Pay attention to those addictive patterns and ask yourself whether they are healthy distractions or compulsions that help you to avoid feeling; methods of self-medicating; or excuses to procrastinate? There is a difference between a healthy outlet and an addiction or compulsion.

Letting go of unhealthy habits and addictions begins with a firm choice. The discipline required to keep up with keeping old bad habits out of your life builds character and provides energetic fuel to help you make leaps and bounds forward in other aspects of your life.

I just want to say that I believe in you, I know that you have the power within to let go of whatever you need to!

TAURUS STELLIUM OPOSES THIS FULL Supermoon

Just a fortnight after we had a stellium of planets in Aries, we now have a stellium of planets in the fixed earth sign of Taurus. A stellium occurs in astrology when three or more planets congregate in the same sign or house; in this case the sun, Mercury, Venus, and Uranus find themselves together, all within 10 degrees of one another in Taurus.

With spring in full bloom here in the Northern Hemisphere, we now find ourselves in Taurus season. The focus of Taurus season is on the material, the earthly, and the grounded.

With all of the emotional turmoil that the Scorpio Full Moon brings up, we need to ground ourselves and honor the needs of the physical body during Taurus season.

Financial matters also come into focus during Taurus season. This is even more so the case now, with Venus—the ruler of money—in its home sign of Taurus and squaring restrictive Saturn in Aquarius.

  • What is your relationship with money and the material world? Do you feel like you are able to manifest what you want? Do you feel blocked? Here are some questions to ponder or to journal on to assist you in evaluating your relationship with money and material things:
  • What do I want to manifest—now, and into the future? The more specific you are on determining what you want to create, the more likely that you’ll be able to create it!
  • If God were to give me all of this right now, would I feel like I could accept it? Would I feel like I could handle it? Would I feel worthy of it?
  • What is the gap between my level of worthiness now and how worthy I would need to feel in order to receive?
  • What is blocking me from feeling this worthiness? What internal wounds or memories of the past are blocking me from feeling this worthiness?
  • What rituals could I do that will help me to reach that level of worthiness?
  • What possessions might I be able to let go of in order to make room for new things in my experience?
  • In what ways am I too attached to material things? Would I feel ‘OK’ if I had no material things other than my basic survival needs? It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t want material things, but it’s a good exercise to ponder whether you’d still be ‘OK’ if you didn’t have any material comforts!

Uranus also opposes this Full Moon, with just over three degrees of an orb. Because of that, it is possible that we could experience unexpected events in the collective as well as unexpected events in your personal life.

The strong Uranian energy also adds to the moodiness of this Full Moon chart. Be extra careful with your communication over this Full Moon, and watch your own triggers. Take some deep breaths and take space when feeling triggered by others. Respond when you are able to respond from an emotionally and verbally mature place.

Uranus can also cause unexpected luck and good fortune! As it is conjunct Venus in Taurus (about five degrees of an orb), unexpected financial success may be in store. We may see some unexpected big gains in the stock and cryptocurrency markets over the next 28 days.

Venus, which has moved into its home sign of Taurus, is joined by Mercury and also squares Saturn in Aquarius. We have a T-square, as Saturn also squares the Supermoon in Scorpio. Some people may feel a sense of restriction within romantic relationships, and communication issues may arise, especially when one partner feels restricted by the other.

These communication issues may also spread outside of the realm of romantic relationships and into family, friends, and business relationships. The most important thing you can do in this time is to keep a watchful eye on your triggers. Transcending triggers is one aspect of doing Shadow Work, which I will discuss at length in the next section.

As I preluded, let’s dive deep into a discussion of how to embrace the intense Scorpio energies and do some personal Shadow Work.

HOW TO DO SHADOW WORK

Scorpio, as I said, represents the cycle of death and rebirth. As you feel the unfelt or unacknowledged emotions within and honor the parts of you that feel unloved, unappreciated, unworthy, or not good enough, you are doing some of the deepest work that you came into this body to do. Another term for this is Shadow Work.

Although I would highly suggest doing some Shadow Work with a trusted and experienced healer like myself or someone else you trust, it’s crucial to learn to do it on your own as well. I have created a simple 5-step process for doing Shadow Work. It goes like this: Awareness, Acknowledgment, Gratitude, Alchemy, Integration.

STEP ONE: AWARENESS

The first step in shifting or healing anything within is becoming aware of it. It could be a pattern of behavior, thought, or speech. The truth is that most of these patterns are inherited from our parents or those who raised us. These negative patterns get imprinted when we are between the ages of 0 and 6 and our brains are in delta or theta brainwaves. 98% of the world (or more) goes through their life in almost a trance, a slave to these subconscious patterns that they acquired at a very young age.

As an awakening being, it is an absolute must that you become one of the few who becomes awake to recognizing the self-limiting, self-destructive, and self-sabotaging patterns of behavior, thought, and speech that you acquired from those who brought you into the world or raised you. Once you became aware of a negative pattern, you can shift it.

Have you ever had the experience of observing yourself from above? You may have experienced this phenomenon while on a psychedelic journey, in meditation, or even in moments in daily life (occasions of deja vu can give you this feeling). Can you take a step back in this moment, take a deep breath, and observe yourself from above? Try it.

Observing yourself from above: what kinds of negative patterns of behavior, speech, or thought have you had today that were self-limiting, self-destructive, or self-sabotaging? I bet if you’re really honest with yourself, you could make a whole list right now.

Good, now that you’ve become self-aware, you can move on to Step 2: Acknowledgment.

STEP TWO: ACKNOWLEDGMENT

One of the paradoxes of life is best described by the old adage of ‘what we resist persists’. There are things we don’t like about ourselves and that we want to push away. That resistance is the exact thing that holds those patterns in place. The Shadow parts of ourselves will continue to rear their ugly heads until we acknowledge their right to exist.

One way to look at the Ascension journey is that it is a journey from duality into nonduality. We must learn to acknowledge the Divinity in all things, whether we prefer them to exist or not. The most difficult test of this is in the inner landscape.

It’s OK to prefer certain aspects, personality traits, or patterns of behavior/thought/speech in yourself over other patterns in yourself, but you must learn to acknowledge the right to exist of these less-preferred parts.

So, as an exercise, once again in this moment I invite you to retreat to the space where you can observe yourself above. Once again, recall all the negative patterns of behavior, thought, and speech from today (or any time in the past) that you became aware of. Now, tell these parts of you that they have a right to exist, and that you recognize their Divinity. Tell them that they are welcome. You are not pushing them away anymore. You are honoring them.

STEP THREE: GRATITUDE

It’s time to take this process one step further. To truly step into nonduality, we must be able to find gratitude for all things, whether we prefer them or not. The inner landscape is a wonderful playing field to practice this lesson.

Can you in this moment express gratitude for those self-limiting, self-destructive, or self-sabotaging patterns within you? If not for these patterns you would not have the motivation to become a more healed person than before. When you heal the Shadow Parts within, you send that healing back through time to heal your entire ancestral lineage AND you help to purge that Shadow Part out of the entire collective consciousness of HU-manity!

Remember, this is both an individual and a collective Ascension, and what you do for yourself you do for All, and vice versa.

So, to continue with this exercise, I invite you to now express gratitude for all the Shadow Parts within AND for the self-limiting, self-destructive, and self-sabotaging patters of behavior/speech/thought that they show up as.

For truly, these parts are serving you. They are motivating you to become better than before; and in doing so, you heal your past-life and ancestral karmas.

STEP FOUR: ALCHEMY

Imagine for a moment that you’re a witch or a master alchemist mixing together herbs to make a healing potion. You wouldn’t be able to make your healing potion first without knowing what your ingredients are, right? And furthermore, if you were to be grateful for your ingredients it might make a more powerful potion, right?

So once you’ve acknowledged and expressed gratitude for all the ingredients (the Shadow Parts), it’s time to male a healing potion. It’s time to create new patterns.

From that space of observing yourself, identify what would be the Highest-Vibrational practice, exercise, or response that would transmute a specific negative pattern?

For example, if you identified that you have a pattern of seeing others doing things on social media and then feeling unworthy or unlovable, what if you made it a practice to consciously wish others well (in your head or in comments) on social media and thank them (in your head or in comments) for showing you what kind of life is possible? Could you celebrate others’ successes? Could you remind yourself that you are doing the best you can and congratulate yourself for how far you’ve come?

These are the sorts of practices that alchemize the Shadow Parts into the gold of wisdom and, yes, into a better life! When you transmute the self-limiting, self-destructive, and self-sabotaging patterns within, you can’t help but to feel happier, more whole, and more fulfilled!

The next and final step to this process is to integrate this work into your daily life.

STEP FIVE: INTEGRATION

The most difficult part of this process, perhaps, is integrating it into your daily life. You might be able to alchemize a few of the patterns in this very moment, but can you sustain those new patterns going forward?

It’s not easy. As soon as you forget to be vigilant about consciously utilizing your new Higher-Vibrational patterns of behavior, thought, and speech, you will naturally default back to the subconscious patterns of the past. It’s only because you haven’t had a whole lot of practice in being the new you yet. However, with some discipline and practice, you can truly become a totally new person!

Something that is really helpful is to use the word, ‘NO!’ with yourself. The instant you become aware that you are engaging in a self-destructive, self-limiting, or self-sabotaging pattern of behavior, speech, or thought, say the word ‘NO!’ to yourself in a loud, clear voice, letting yourself know who is in charge!

Then, choose an action, pattern of speech, or pattern of thought that is more High-Vibrational. Finding gratitude or a sense of humor for anything is a fool-roof way of lifting your vibration.

To expound upon the previous example I used, let’s say that you find yourself mindlessly scrolling through Instagram and you start to feel jealous of someone whom you think is prettier than yourself or living a ‘better’ life.

The moment you become aware that you’re feeling jealous, say ‘NO!’ to yourself, and remind yourself that this person is showing you what is possible in your life! It is totally possible for you to feel prettier about yourself, regardless of how others judge you. It is totally possible for you to live a life with more fun activities and more abundance. And go to the fail-proof, gratitude, and say ‘THANK YOU for showing me what is possible in life and where I need to love and appreciate myself more!’

ASCENSION SYMPTOMS HEIGHTENED

We have seen both solar flares and geomagnetic storms in the days leading up this SuperMoon. It’s the most activity we have seen in about a half a year. This is causing a marked increase in Ascension Symptoms in many people. The antidote these symptoms are to spend time in nature, as well as staying very hydrated, sleeping a lot, and meditating.

Wishing you Love, Healing, and Transformation on this SuperMoon in Scorpio.
