Will You Take That Chance? I Did.

Most of the people on this planet are complacent with what they’re doing for a living. For some, they receive a great income for doing something they terribly dislike and for others, they are underpaid but love what they do. Just about everyone else falls somewhere in between.
I was watching a video where Steve Harvey was addressing the studio audience before recording the TV game show, The Family Feud.
While the message has numerous religious overtones, the bottom line remains the same for everyone: if you don’t take a chance, you’ll never know how great you can be.
Basically, we all have specific gifts but many of us are too afraid to take that leap of faith and immerse ourselves into our passions for numerous reasons.
- We may fear failure.
- We may feel we’re losing perceived job security.
- We may fear what other people will think about our decisions.
- We may be afraid to change a comfortable environment into one that is unknown.
- We may not have the support system behind us to take a chance on being successful.
- We may take a pay decrease, which would make our bills harder to pay.
Right now, there are millions of people with special gifts and abilities who are wasting them by being a corporate slave for the 1/2 of 1% who we call the global elite.
Millions of ideas are “put on the shelf” because we’re too afraid to take that chance to succeed.
What will it take to make that jump?
I made that jump in 2007 after watching “The Secret“. At the time, I was a Child & Family Therapist and had a patent pending program designed to help families who are at-risk of dissolution, children going through the reunification program, and parents in need of parenting classes. I also wrote a book called, “100+ Common Parenting Mistakes” but I KNEW there was something greater that I had to do.
In 2009, I asked the Universe for ideas and suggestions. I received a “galactic download” that told me I needed to build a new spiritual website, write articles, make videos, start a radio show, etc… I was even given the name “In5D” during this download. This was a daunting task for someone who considers himself one of the world’s biggest introverts!
My parents, at the time, didn’t understand what I was experiencing and the new direction in my life. After teaching myself HTML and how to build a website from scratch, I eventually decided to quit my human services business and focus solely on my websites, despite my parents trying to tell me otherwise.

Since 2009, I’ve worked 10-15+ hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year and LOVE it. Helping to awaken the world is my passion and if there was no such thing as money, I’d still be doing the same thing, along with working with children teaching the how to find their niche in life. Little did I realize that In5D would reach 1-3+ million people every month and our videos would be viewed over 32 million times.
There is something that we are ALL good at. What is YOUR passion and how can it help the world? It could be something as simple as gardening or craftwork. Perhaps you love animals and could start a pet sitting business?
I know a guy who was homeless a few years ago but had a passion for bicycle riding and paddle boarding. He worked odd and end jobs and saved up enough money to buy several paddle boards and bicycles. He rented them out to tourists and has since built an amazing business out of his passions!
I know another guy who is a surfing instructor and travels the world in his free time, looking for the perfect wave.
There’s a woman I know who gives free yoga classes on the beach and accepts donations for her time but never asks for them.
Please take the time to watch the following video. I personally didn’t relate to the religious overtones and replaced the word “God” with “Creator”. Either way, the message is loud and clear: Find your passion and take that JUMP!
Sending you all infinite Love & Light,
Gregg
