Until Next Time.... Growing Apart From Friends And Family

An awakening of unprecedented proportions is happening all over the world right now, yet some people remain asleep and set in their ways. They may not understand your awakening or how you have grown as a person and may seemingly be drifting away from your relationship with them.

It’s painful. You recall all of the wonderful memories you shared with these people and think of them fondly, yet it can become puzzling as to why you chose to awaken while they’re still asleep.

Your attempts to share your awakening with unawakened family and friends is only returned by deafening silence or ridicule. You may even feel a closer connection to online Facebook friends who share your awakening than you do to childhood friends you’ve known for years.

For many people, they will go to their graves never knowing who they truly are while living their entire lives pretending to be what society expected them to be. In the end, the person he or she feared the most was themselves.

If you’re awake, then unfortunately, you end up paying for their fears through strained relationships and societal conformity.

Rest assured, they are on their own path as well. Some may be newer souls who aren’t ready to awaken just yet. Some may be playing the antagonist role in this awakening while others are simply here to hold the energy, even if they’re not fully awake.

I’m not the same person I was in the past. I’ve learned new things, had different experiences and I know sometimes, that scares other people, especially those who are close to me.

I’ve grown in many new and exciting ways. While my past plays a big role to who I am now and in the future, I still remember, all of the wonderful experiences I had and treasure each and every one of them. The person I am now is the culmination of every life experience, including the good, the bad, and the ugly ones.

As we grow from these life experiences, the illusion of reality unfolds. For example, I once asked my mother, “If there was no such thing as money, then what would you be doing with your life?” Her answer: “That’s preposterous. How can we live without money?” Many people do not realize that as long as there is money, then we are ALL economic slaves to a broken system of fiat currency, yet have bought into this system of subservience, control, and conformity because this is the way it was and always will be (in their minds). They have a difficult time visualizing what this world would be like if you removed the constraints that have enslaved us.

I’m real comfortable with who I am even if it means losing friends who don’t understand who I’ve become.

To those who I am friends with through our awakenings, thank you for understanding what I’m going through.

To those who I am no longer close with, thank you for all of the wonderful life experiences that helped make me who I am today.

Saying goodbye to loved ones is never easy. Sometimes, it’s hard to see the “good” in “goodbye”. As we never truly die, perhaps it’s best to say, “Until next time…”
