Being An Adult Indigo With ADD Or ADHD

While it is greatly believed that the Indigo children began incarnating in the 1970’s, 1980’s, and 1990’s, some Indigos came in a little early.
On the back of my grade school report cards in the 1960’s, it said, “Fails to pay attention” on every quarter. I remember toning in one class in 4th grade without knowing WHY I was doing it. I remember looking out the window and daydreaming in every class I took in grade school through high school.
When I graduated high school, my parent chose my major in college, Business Administration. I found this to be incredibly boring. I ended up joining a fraternity and partied my ass off. I flunked out of college twice and was reinstated each time, only to party my ass off and flunk out again.
I was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in the 1990’s and was originally given a non-narcotic medication of Straterra, which literally turns you into a zombie. It did absolutely nothing for my ADHD except make me not give a rat’s ass about anything.
My next medication was Adderall, which was amazing. For the first time, I could easily focus on anything and everything. Ironically, Adderall is a stimulant but after taking it, I could easily fall asleep an hour later. In other words, it did the exact opposite of what it would do for people without attention deficit disorder (ADD) or ADHD. At this point, I knew my body was wired differently than most people.
Eventually, I went back to college for psychology as an “adult learner” and graduated with honors for both my B.A. and Master’s degrees. What was the difference? When I went back to college as an adult learner, I KNEW what I wanted to study (psychology) because I was fascinated WHY we do WHAT we do.
I weened myself off of Adderall after watching “The Secret“. The more I found myself spiritually, the less I needed Adderall. The reason for this is that I was uncluttering my mind from YEARS of worthless information.
I used to be a HUGE sports fanatic. I have a “selective” photographic memory where I would read the sports page and could remember every statistic I read. This is the type of information that clutters your mind. After watching “The Secret”, I realized that ALL sports follow the divide and conquer premise by pitting my tribe versus your tribe. Look no further than the National Football League when the Dallas Cowboys play the Washington Redskins. Cowboys vs. Indians, hidden in plain sight.
The lesson learned is that Indigos (and anyone with ADD/ADHD) are incredibly intelligent when it comes to topics that interest them. When it comes to mundane subjects, they easily lose interest.
I also learned that once you truly find yourself, you no longer need medication. Meditation plays a huge role in this! If you have ADD or ADHD, you probably find it incredibly difficult to meditate because your mind is racing in 5,000 different directions. What I would recommend is an article on In5D.com called, “AMAZING Open Eye Meditation” because when you do this meditations, it’s literally impossible to think about anything!
Eventually, you will train and rewire your mind to be able to meditate ANYWHERE, including a crowded beach or park.
These lessons I learned are from one man’s perspective. Some people may need to be on a lifetime medication of Adderall or Ritalyn for ADD or ADHD.
As for myself, my mind has never been clearer. Many of my dreams are futuristic and/or prophetic. My 3rd eye opened fully and I have merged with my spirit guide, Tamara. I don’t believe any of these would have occurred without spiritually finding myself and eliminating the need for Adderall by clearing my mind.
