As a child, many of us grew up playing with a Ouija board trying to channel spirits from beyond. At the time, this seemed like harmless fun and for the most part, was just a game.

I’ve had a lifelong interest in esoteric, metaphysical, spiritual, and occultic sciences. I can tell you from personal experience that Ouija boards DO work, yet what the manufacturers of the game forget to mention is how to protect yourself from spiritual attacks before you “play” this “game”.

How well prepared is a 9 year old child to communicate with the dead? Would this be potentially traumatic if malevolent spirits visited any given child?

The latest version of the Ouija board comes in pink and is targeted for ages 8 and up.

The following is the original Ouija commercial from the 1929:

It’s interesting to note that it was not directly targeted for children.

The next commercial is from 1991 and specifically targets children:

The controllers know that the Ouija board can be used to contact spirits from beyond and used this knowledge to create a fear-based movie:

You can find the latest pink version of the Ouija board on Amazon,ir?t=bcp11wh33 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B001HEKJ2M specifically designed for girls ages 8 and up.

What I found most interesting was a comment on Amazon:ir?t=bcp11wh33 20&l=as2&o=1&a=B001HEKJ2M

I am not an expert on Ouija. I only know why I wouldn’t let my child or any children in my care play with it. If the process involves asking questions of the dead or unseen spirits, then the mind and heart of a child should be protected, and not led to believe that it’s okay to play with it (left defenseless). The color pink is an insult, like little girls aren’t smart enough to know that dead things are gross. Even if it’s fake. I would just be more inclined to offer innocent people something more appropriate, like books and gardening projects, and musical instruments, painting supplies, butterfly habitats, anything clean and sustainable, cooking together, helping them find their passion and gifts and talents. Whats not on the pink face is just some simple fun things that build relationships that show the child you care and their safe with the choices you make for them while their little. I have to ask myself, what were they thinking when they made a pink Ouija for little girls. Oh yeah! Money

As parents, we really need to look at the underlying message of any game we give our children. For example, what lessons are learned through the board game, Monopoly?

  • Materialism
  • Greed
  • Screwing over your best friends
  • Having fun being an economic slave to a broken system
  • Accepting a faulty economic system based on fiat currency
  • The banksters always win

What lessons will be learned if you buy your child a Ouija board?

I am not recommending that you buy your child a Ouija board, but if you do, please take the responsibility of telling them what to expect and show them how to spiritually protect themselves beforehand.

Similar to meditating, you can protect yourself in the same manner:

It is also recommended to smudge the board beforehand along with asking your spirit guides and guardian angels for protection. How many 8 year old children would be allowed to smudge or know how to ask for protection? Not many at all.

According to Wiccan reverend Don:

“The experiences that you have with it depend not upon the board itself, but upon the skill with which you use it and also the spirit with which you use it. If you use it in a reverent and spiritual manner, you will get much better results than if you’re looking for a spooky and scary experience or engaging with it as if it were a game… which it is not.”

You can learn more from the Wiccan perspective in this video:

Giving your child a Ouija board is not much different than buying them a book on black magick. While both can be used with good intentions, they can be detrimental to the inexperienced user.

Sending you all infinite Love & Light,

Gregg
